About Tim
I’m a photographer and storyteller drawn to honest moments and meaningful work.
For more than a decade, I’ve documented people at pivotal points in their lives—often in spaces where trust matters more than attention. My work is rooted in listening first, staying present, and letting moments unfold naturally rather than forcing them.
Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a working tradesman, or a quiet moment in between, the goal is the same: show up steady, pay attention, and tell the story with care.
Experience
I’m the founder of The Veterans Project, a long-form documentary series dedicated to preserving the stories of veterans across multiple generations. That work shaped how I approach everything I do—patiently, respectfully, and with an understanding that the best images come from trust.
Alongside documentary work, I’ve spent years photographing weddings, events, people, and environments where there are no second takes. I’m comfortable working independently or alongside small teams, adapting quickly while keeping the focus on the people in front of the camera.
How I Approach the Work
I don’t stage moments—I observe them.
I keep my presence calm and unobtrusive.
I care as much about the people as the images.
I believe good work is built on trust, not pressure.
Outside of photography, I value quiet mornings with a great cup of coffee, physical discipline, and doing work that lasts longer than the moment it’s made for.
If It Feels Like a Fit
If you’re looking for someone who values presence, care, and honest storytelling, I’d be glad to hear what you’re working on.
